Point - No - Point

For our honeymoon, we wanted to go somewhere beautiful and isolated (no wifi!), but to also have access to fine dining and culture. Our good friend Adam Green (the handsome bespectacled fellow who stood next to Adam at the ceremony and later gave a toast) recommended a small resort on Vancouver Island, where he vacationed once as a child. That's how we ended up at Point-No-Point.

From our little cabin, overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, we could see the Olympian Mountains, and a Skeller's Jay in the tree outside our window

With no TV or WiFi we got to rest, enjoy our time together, and the beautiful scenery. We read novels by the fireplace (Ferrante's Neopolitan series, which we devoured!), we walked down hidden, lush, trails to the beach, played cards, and enjoyed many glasses of wine on the balcony.
